Kristine Juncker is a writer, educator and digital media curator. Her writing and research focus on the histories of Afro-Atlantic art and material culture, especially photographic practices, with a methodological emphasis on the digital humanities.
The University of Florida published her first book, Afro-Cuban Religious Arts, in 2014. She is currently working on a second book about twentieth-century photographic movements in Cuba and their international impact. Dr. Juncker also has several other writing projects as well as exhibition and book reviews on her desk.
